What began as a weekend adventure and my love of French language, has blossomed into my business, Trouver (FR: to find). My name is Shasha, and while growing up in Walla Walla, Washington my siblings and I (Kathrine, and twins Fanny and John) would hop on our bikes and whiz to garage sales, the antique fairs, and attend estate sales with our mom, Patricia. As a grand summer pastime, we would compete to find something small and unique, while my incredible and artistic mom would handle the larger items.

Later at college, I studied in the south of France and was introduced to the mesmerizing L’Ilse sur la Sorgue.

That was it.

I fell in love with France!

I continued practicing my French and returned when I could, all the while working full-time at several fabulous Pacific Northwest companies. 

In the fall of 2023, I decided to leave my career in corporate communications to take this leap to pursue my passion full-time. Now, my son, a young middle-schooler, joins me touring the countryside looking for trouvailles and practicing his French. (Glace is his favorite word.)
